BIRTH & DEATH REGISTRATION
The registration of Births and Deaths is a statutory provision as such the citizens and concerned officials are required to submit the information in the prescribed format.
Births and deaths within the cantonment limits are being registered in the Cantonment Board Office and certificates for the same are issued accordingly.
In case of delay in registration, following procedures have been laid down for registration of Births and Deaths.
PROCEDURES FOR REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS & DEATHS
- Upto to one month on payment on production of Doctors Certificate.
- More than one month and up to a period of one year, on production of an affidavit made before the notary public or any other officer authorized in his behalf.
- More than one year - written orders of Ist Class Magistrate
STATISTICS
440 births and 18 deaths were registered during the year 2008-2009.
ISSUE OF BIRTH/DEATH CERTIFICATE
The following fee has been imposed for issue of extract of birth and death.

FORM FOR REGISTRATION AND ISSUE OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE
Forms can be either obtained from the office of the Cantonment Board or may be downloaded. Forms duly completed in all respects and having sufficient proof be deposited in the office on any working day during office hours.
